Terms of Use
Last updated 26 October 2026. These terms govern access to PixQR, including QR generation, dynamic redirects, batch processing, dashboards, APIs and admin tools.
1. Service provider
PixQR is owned and operated by ZypherLock LLC. By using the service, you agree to these terms and any plan-specific limits shown in your account.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate account information, keep login details secure and ensure that users in your workspace are authorised. You are responsible for activity under your account, including API use and uploaded batch data.
3. QR codes and destinations
You are responsible for QR content, destination URLs, campaign pages, uploaded logos/backgrounds and any personal data placed into QR codes. Dynamic QR destinations may be changed through authorised account controls. Static QR codes cannot be changed after printing except by creating a new QR.
4. Prohibited use
- Phishing, malware, credential harvesting, impersonation, fraud or deceptive redirects.
- Illegal, harmful, abusive, hateful, exploitative or infringing content.
- Attempts to bypass rate limits, security controls, plan limits or workspace isolation.
- Uploading secrets, full payment card data, unlawful personal data or content you do not have rights to use.
- Using QR redirects to hide unsafe destinations or evade abuse detection.
5. Security and enforcement
We may suspend, pause, delete or block QR codes, accounts, API keys or destinations where we reasonably believe there is abuse, security risk, legal risk, non-payment or breach of these terms. High-risk actions may require additional verification.
6. Plans, billing and payment providers
Paid features may be billed through Stripe, PayPal or another configured provider. Plan changes may take effect immediately, at renewal, or after payment provider confirmation. You are responsible for taxes, billing details and authorised payment method use.
7. Batch processing
Batch tools are provided to generate QR codes from customer-supplied sheets. You must validate uploads before running a batch. PixQR may reject malformed rows, unknown designs, unsafe destinations or oversized batches.
8. APIs
API access must use issued keys or authorised sessions. API keys and webhook secrets must be protected. We may apply rate limits, scopes, audit logs and revocation. You must not expose keys in client-side code or public repositories.
9. Intellectual property
ZypherLock LLC owns PixQR software, branding and service materials. You retain ownership of your uploaded content, QR campaign names, logos and data, subject to the licence needed for us to provide the service.
10. Availability and testing
You must test QR codes before production printing, packaging, signage or public release. Scanability can be affected by size, contrast, surface, print quality, damage, device camera and environmental conditions.
11. Privacy and compliance
You must comply with privacy, consumer protection, advertising, accessibility, telecoms, marketing and sector-specific laws that apply to your QR campaigns. Where your QR code collects or links to personal data, you must provide appropriate notices and lawful basis.
12. Disclaimers and liability
PixQR is provided on an as-available basis. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we exclude implied warranties and are not responsible for indirect losses, failed scans caused by customer design/printing choices, third-party outages or unlawful customer content.
13. Termination
You may stop using PixQR or request account deletion subject to legal, billing, security and audit retention needs. We may suspend or terminate access for breach, risk, non-payment or legal reasons.
14. Changes
We may update these terms as PixQR develops. Continued use after changes means acceptance of the updated terms.
